چکیده
Pyrite and arsenopyrite are known to be the most common gold-bearing sulfide minerals in refractory gold ores. Traditionally, these have been first oxidized by roasting, acidic pressure oxidation or bio-oxidation release gold, after which is dissolved subsequent cyanide leaching step. The chloride (chloride-bromide) solution presents an alternative cyanide-free media, able not only leach minerals, but also a single unit process. Therefore, current study investigation of simultaneous from (sulfidic) double (sulfidic preg-robbing) concentrates. results show that extraction investigated concentrate was linearly dependent on oxidation: 97% resulting 99% extraction, 67% 81% 46% extraction. However, with concentrate, as low 18% despite ([Cl-]aq,0 = 6.3 mol/L, [Br-]aq,0 1.0 [Cu2+]aq,0 1.6 mol/L). In order mitigate challenges related losses due preg-robbing, active carbon (CICl) well addition lead nitrate were investigated. With CICl, recovery could increased significantly (67%). Further, CICl shown improve substantially (88%). shows presented approach can address nature concentrates atmospheric - process providing new horizons for future utilization

KINETIC STUDIES FOR GOLD LEACHING OF A REFRACTORY SULFIDE CONCENTRATE BY CHLORIDE–HYPOCHLORITE SOLUTION
In this paper, gold leaching of a refractory sulfide concentrate by chloride–hypochlorite solution was investigated and effects of stirring speed, temperature and particle size on the leaching rate were reported. Experimental data for leaching rate of gold were analyzed with the shrinking–core model. Results were consistent with chemical reaction control mechanism in the first 1 h of leachin...

متن کاملMicrobial oxidation of refractory gold sulfide concentrate by a native consortium
A defined mesophilic consortium including an iron oxidizing bacterium and a sulfur oxidizing bacterium was constructed to evaluate its ability for bioleaching a flotation concentrate from Andacollo mine in Neuquén, Argentina. Experiments were performed in shake flasks with a pulp density of 10% (w/v), using a basal salt medium containing ferrous iron at pH 1.8. The leaching solutions were analy...

The term biomining have been coined to refer to the use of microorganisms in mining processes as in the biooxidation of refractory gold minerals. The biooxidation of refractory gold ores presents similar characteristics when compared with roasting and pressure oxidation. Almost without exception, microbial extraction procedures are more environmentally friendly. The isolated bacteria in this st...
